Foundational Planning Process

Of course this process starts with you – after all, it’s your future we’re talking about. We want to know you – what do you value, what do you want to do both now and in retirement.


Before we talk about what we are going to do, I need to know what you want. I also need to know what you’re doing now. This is the foundation of the work we’ll do together.


This is where I get to do the fun stuff: design a financial plan that’s customized for you. I look at what financial planning and/or investment management strategies will help you get closer to your goals.


We’ll talk through my recommendations, any questions you have and make adjustments as needed. Then I get to work and put your plan in to action.

Financial Planning

One of the biggest mistakes I’ve seen people make, including myself in another life, is failing to plan. That's why I’m going to be a little bit in your face and tell you, the time is NOW. 

Whether you’re sitting on a million dollar portfolio, you’re just starting to make good money but don’t know how to make it work for you efficiently, or you’re already in retirement and want more from your current advisor … you’ve got to be able to look back in 5, 10, 20 years from now and say “Wow, I’m so glad we did this,” instead of, “I wish we had done this years ago.”

  • Estate planning
  • Setting up a plan for your business or your children (or both!)
  • Having your investments managed professionally so you can spend your time on things that bring you joy

All of this and more is "baked into" my process. There are a lot of advisors out there today, some even have processes but one of my differentiators is the way I apply my knowledge and bring you holistic wealth management, not just investment management. I’m a guide and a coach, not a Wall Street broker or snake-oil salesman.
